Habitare is Finland’s leading design fair held each year in September. Boardwalk produced an installation in the form of an interactive workshop structure all made from cardboard.

The workshop is constructed using a honeycomb cardboard. A modular dome shaped structure with the dual function of being able to host talks and presentations with a small audience of up to 25 people and being acoustically suitable.
The outside divisions create enough screening for short, private, networking meetings. The material has integrated fireproofing, making it suitable for indoor events such as this. Within each division is placed an interactive corrugated cardboard table and stools on which visitors are encouraged to scribble on during their meetings.
